Picnics, oily hands fettling a Vintage engine, and the sights and sounds of the cars tackling that tricky hillclimb.

That Vintage cars are still as popular as they are in the UK is largely down to the Vintage Sports-Car Club. The highlight of the club’s motor sport meetings is Vintage Prescott, on the historic 1127-yard Prescott hillclimb, owned by the Bugatti Owners’ Club since 1937. No event feels more English on a summer’s day – picnics, oily hands fettling a Vintage engine, and the sights and sounds of the cars tackling that tricky hillclimb. Spiffing!
