The Amelia

Location Florida, USA
Date 06 – 09 March 2025

We’ve been guilty of describing The Amelia as “America’s second-best concours” in the past, but that does it an injustice. There’s as much to see as at Pebble Beach, but with a more relaxed atmosphere and an even broader mix of displays. Over the years, we’ve seen everything from the Bullitt Mustang to Cars and Guitars and customiser Ed ‘Big Daddy’ Roth.

Since Hagerty took over in 2021, the event has evolved while retaining its unique charm. The concours itself remains the centrepiece, but the surrounding activities have expanded significantly. Hagerty has placed a greater emphasis on accessibility and enthusiast engagement, growing the free-entry Cars & Community (formerly Cars and Coffee) into a major spectacle. There’s also an increased presence from manufacturers, with more interactive experiences and new car debuts. The auctions have become even more prominent, with major houses drawing high-profile consignments, and the seminars continue to bring together legendary figures for in-depth discussions.

Yet despite the growth, The Amelia still feels intimate and inviting. And, of course, it’s set on the stunning Florida East Coast, just a short drive from Jacksonville, home of Hurley Haywood, Brumos Racing, and the ever-impressive Brumos Collection museum.

We’ve seen the Bullitt Mustang, Cars and Guitars and customiser Ed ‘Big Daddy’ Roth, to name but a few.
