The UK’s Royal Automobile Club (RAC) – the country’s oldest motoring organisation – has announced that it will hold its inaugural Club Concours on July 9, 2025. The event joins the RAC’s prestigious line-up of more than 60 automotive events, including the world-famous London to Brighton Veteran Car Run

Described as a “garden party for historic cars”, this all-new concours will be held in the RAC’s 350-acre Woodcote Park estate and clubhouse, set in the verdant surroundings of the Surrey countryside. Invitations will be extended to RAC members, guests and select car clubs, for what’s touted as a celebration of world-class automobiles. The event will also feature talks by industry experts, live music and fine dining.

Over 50 classic and collector cars spanning more than a century of motoring history will be curated to appear in the concours. Categories include Grand Tourers, Riviera, Coachbuilder’s Art, Limousines and the Mille Miglia. These are complemented by classes dedicated to vintage cars and 50 years of the Honda Gold Wing motorcycle.

An expert jury – featuring celebrities and key industry figures – will select the winners in each category, before crowning the Best of Show. Meanwhile, attendees will have their say with the People’s Choice award, recognising the event’s most popular car.

The RAC has also revealed that the concours d’elegance contest will be complemented by an array of special displays that will be arranged throughout the Club’s estate, including on the scenic golf course.

Several special-anniversary displays will complement the vehicles competing for glory in the concours d’elegance. These showcases include 75 years of Formula 1 and BRM, 120 years of the RAC Tourist Trophy, 100 years of the Rolls-Royce Phantom and 125 years since the Club’s 1000-Mile Trial took place. Both the anniversary displays and concours classes will feature vehicles owned by RAC members, as well as invited guest entries from around the world.

Those in the market for a new vehicle or luxury item, meanwhile, can explore a curated selection from dealers, manufacturers and premium brands within the event’s exclusive retail lodges.

“The Club has a distinguished history of organising some of the finest motoring events, including RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run,” said RAC chairman Duncan Wiltshire. “It therefore gives us great pleasure to announce that we’re adding the Club Concours to our stellar line-up.”

More details will be announced in the coming weeks, and tickets will be on sale soon. For more information about the 2025 RAC Concours, click here
