A Bugatti Centodieci with just 437km on the clock is among the leading lights at RM Sotheby’s Paris sale, which is set to take place around the time of Rétromobile in February 2025.
It’s one of only ten produced as a tribute to the quad-turbocharged EB110 built during Romano Artioli’s time as the head of Bugatti during the 1990s, and as a celebration of the marque’s 110th birthday.
Under the skin, the Centodieci is based on a revised Chiron chassis, with 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 further enhanced to near-1600bhp, a configuration that would later be applied to further Chiron variants.
The Bugatti Centodieci also benefitted from a 20kg reduction in unladen weight, plus a revised steering geometry for sharper handling compared to the Chiron.
It takes just 2.4 seconds for the Bugatti Centodieci to crack 0-62mph, and an electronic limiter calls time at 236.1mph.
The design nods to the EB110 include Bugatti Centodieci-specfic bodywork on the nose, including a small horseshoe grille, angular front spoiler and thin headlamps, and there are circular inlets in the C-pillar plus a fixed rear wing.
This particular example is chassis 006 of ten, and it was originally ordered new in August 2019 by a Swiss collector in two-tone Quartz White and Grey Carbon over a Beluga Black and Gris Rafale leather interior. In addition, there are black-anodised trim parts and Glacier door sills. Described as having been used only sparingly, this Bugatti Centodieci has covered just 437km and it still retains the remainder of its Bugatti warranty, which runs until September 2026.
This Bugatti Centodieci is up for grabs at RM Sotheby’s Paris sale, which takes place on February 4-5, 2025 at Les Salles du Carrousel. It carries an estimate of between €10m and €15m, and more details can be found here.
We’ll be carrying a further preview of the Rétromobile sales closer to Christmas.
