Iconic Auctioneers has entered into an agreement with the London Concours to become the event’s official auctioneer. The partnership will begin with a luxury lifestyle auction at 5:30pm on June 5, 2024, during the London Concours itself, which is scheduled to run from June 4-6, 2024.
An eclectic selection of luxury lifestyle lots, ranging from cars and motorcycles to automobilia, watches and fine art, will take place at the heart of the city, at the Honourable Artillery Company headquarters near to Old Street station.
Headline lots include one of just 38 Aston Martin DB6 Mk2 Volantes. Built in 1970, this particular model is of the same specification as the car famously owned by King Charles III. Also on offer will be a 1969 Aston Martin DB5, recently restored by specialist Desmond Smail and upgraded to 4.2-litre specification.
Studio Wall Drawing: Designs for Chicago Hyatt Centre (2003), an artwork by the English artist and Turner Prize winner Keith Tyson, is another prominent lot. It exemplifies the conceptual artwork Tyson is renowned for.
The full auction catalogue will be revealed in the coming weeks, and viewing will take place in the HAC’s Grand Prince Consort Room on June 4-5, 2024, before the sale gets underway.
