Race Retro, the UK’s motor sport show for Historic vehicles, returns to Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, from February 21-23, 2025. This year’s event follows the cancellation of the 2024 one due to flooding.

Attractions for 2025 include displays of iconic race and rally cars, Live Rally Stage demonstrations, more than 200 exhibitors and a sale hosted by Iconic Auctioneers.

One of the standout cars confirmed for the event is a one-of-a-kind MG Special raced by British Formula 1 driver Chris Bristow. Presented by Bristow Sports Cars, the car is making its first public appearance since being discovered in barn-find condition. The company plans to restore the car and return it to the track, while also producing a series of Bristow Barchetta Continuation models.

Another big draw is Race Retro’s celebration of Group B rallying. This exhibit will see around 100 Group B monsters roar back into action in the exciting Live Rally Stage, while icons including the Audi Quattro, MG Metro 6R4, Lancia 037 and Ford RS200 will be showcased in the Group B Hall of Fame.

A diverse line-up of 20 competition cars is vying for this year’s prestigious Pride of the Paddock award, which honours the finest racing machine on the shortlist. Contenders include a Ford Escort RS Cosworth, Chevrolet Impala, Lancia Delta Integrale and a pair of Jaguar XK120s.

Race Retro’s Live Stage will see the likes of Ari Vatanen, Jackie Oliver, John Watson and Mike Wilds share their experiences of racing at the highest levels of motor sport.

Iconic Auctioneers’ official sale will see racing cars, road cars, motorcycles and automobilia go under the hammer throughout the weekend. Race Retro has been the scene of several headline-grabbing results in recent years, including the record-breaking £596,250 (including fees) sale of a 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS in 2023.

Leading the charge for Iconic Auctioneers in 2025 is a triptych of Group B homolgation cars, a 2018 Bentley Continental GT3 Pikes Peak Special and the first McLaren Senna ever built.
