Bicester Heritage has announced that its flagship Flywheel event will return to the Oxfordshire venue on June 17-18, 2023. The show’s comeback coincides with the tenth anniversary of the renowned Oxfordshire site.
Classic car enthusiasts will be delighted by the presence of historic marques in displays along the avenues of the former World War Two bomber base.
The Scramblers membership club, affiliated with Collecting Cars, will be in attendance as well, and promises a variety of specially curated classics on the Scramblers Lawn.
There will also be plenty on offer for fans of vintage aviation, with a selection of historic aircraft returning to the grass airfield to commemorate the venue’s heritage as an RAF Blenheim bomber training station.
The Experience and Demonstration Track will be in use throughout the entire weekend, so visitors can enjoy the spectacle of historic machinery in action.
More than 50 of Bicester Heritage’s on-site specialists will also open their doors, allowing attendees to discover the incredible range of skills and crafts that are based at the site, ranging from vintage upholstery and historic-motor dealers to cutting-edge EV technology outfits.
“This year is a particularly special one for us here at Bicester Heritage, and the return of Flywheel is a fitting tribute to celebrate the story of our unique site,” said Bicester Motion CEO Daniel Geoghegan. “We hope to welcome attendees of all ages to join us for what will be a spectacular event – a tribute to the hard work of our specialist community and all those who have supported our drive here at Bicester since day one.”
Adult tickets will be priced at £27 each, with entry for children up to the age of 15 costing £7.50. Tickets are available here.
