The 2024 battle between The Amelia and the inaugural ModaMiami, both taking place on the same weekend in Florida, left enthusiasts hankering for more convenient scheduling for next year – and their wishes have been granted.
With The Amelia set for its usual first weekend in March – in this case, March 6-9, 2025 – we’ve been waiting for ModaMiami to confirm its dates. And it’s great news, because there’s no clash this year, with the dates set for the weekend before The Amelia, on February 27-March 2.
This should work for everyone. There’s likely to be a lot going on at ModaMiami, with tours, track sessions at the nearby Concours Club and the RM Sotheby’s auction, but there’s even more happening at long-established The Amelia, especially with sales from Bonhams, Gooding & Company and Broad Arrow. In the 2024 running, Bonhams missed out for many reasons, including being early in the event schedule, ahead of the arrival of many visitors.
If the hardcore enthusiast decide to make a week or more of it in 2025, they’ll be able to do ModaMiami, followed perhaps by a drive up the coast via Daytona Beach, in time for all three auctions at The Amelia. And suddenly we have a Florida Car Week!
