The final 35th edition of Techno-Classica Essen will return to Germany’s industrial epicentre from April 9-13, 2025, ahead of its merger with Retro Classics in 2026.
Since its inaugural show in 1989, Techno-Classica has grown to become one of the largest and most prolific classic car events on the planet, attracting an international crowd of enthusiasts, collectors and professionals. In 2024, the event attracted 188,000 visitors from 41 nations, reinforcing its reputation as a major fixture of the classic car calendar.
For its last edition before the merger, Techno-Classica Essen 2025 will host in excess of 1000 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, as well as an eclectic mix of around 200 car clubs. The event will also showcase an expanded line-up of nearly 3000 vehicles – many of which will be offered for sale.
Another highlight of 2025 promises to be the special showcase organised by the SIHA, which will display ten extraordinary automotive rarities. They will provide an unusual opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the most historically significant and alluring automobiles in existence.
As ever, Techno-Classica will also serve as a vibrant rendezvous for the international classic car community. The impressive number of auto clubs in attendance, for example, will provide visitors with the chance to connect and share their passion with like-minded enthusiasts.
Hailing from almost every continent, exhibitors will purvey a diverse range of products and services, including parts dealers, restorers, model car vendors and sellers of automotive literature and automobilia.
As the final edition before the merger with Retro Classics, the 35th Techno-Classica Essen promises to be a fitting close for an event that has remained at the forefront of the European classic car calendar for more than three decades.
