The Audrain Automobile Museum in Newport, US will hold the second edition of its Youngtimers Collecting Moving Forward car show at Fort Adams on September 24, 2023.
Youngtimers celebrates the cars, car culture, music and fashion of the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. It was originally inspired by the 30Under30 class staged in the Audrain Newport Concours and Motor Week, which was limited to owners under 30 years of age with vehicles valued at $30,000 or less.

While Youngtimers is open to all ages, its positioning as an event for modern classics requires vehicles to be at least 20 years old to be eligible for the coveted Best of Show award.
Models such as the BMW E30 M3, original Audi Quattro, Mazda Miata, IROC Camaro Z28 and rally specials such as the Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution are examples of the cars Youngtimers welcomes.
Complementing the array of modern classics on display will be music that is reflective of the period in which the vehicles were produced, and visitors are encouraged to dress in their favourite ‘80s, ‘90s or ‘00s attire.
Youngtimers has officially partnered with Doug Demuro’s Cars & Bids online auction platform that caters to modern collector cars for 2023.
“We are very excited to have Cars & Bids join us in celebrating the cars, fashion and music that for many represent the best of the ‘80s, ‘90s and 2000s,” said Donald Osborne, CEO of the Audrain Group.
